Get this Look – Bridal Glam
This week’s “Get this Look” Friday comes from one of our favorite shoots. We teamed up with some of the top hair and makeup artists from Charlotte to do a Look book featuring our latest accessories. Today we will look at our bridal glam look featuring our new and most popular necklace the “Josephine” by Sara Gabriel. Sometimes when you hear the word Glam you think that means “Over the top”. This is not always the case. What we love the most about this look in particular is the simplicity of the low bun and natural makeup with just a pop of pink in the lipstick! We feel that brides sometimes over complicate their hairstyles and makeup for their big day when all that is needed is a simple low bun and a just a POP of makeup.
Brides tend to also over due it with too many big sparkle elements. For instance when going with a statement necklace like this one all that is needed are a simple pair of stud earrings to completely transform your wedding day look. We highly suggest our “Celeste” or “Ana” stud earrings when pairing with a statement necklace. For an exact match of the “Josephine” necklace we suggest pairing with the our “Josephine” earrings which contains the same Swarovski crystal posts that are featured in the necklace.
What we love about our “Josephine” necklace is it can be worn two different ways. For this look we decided to wear the “Josephine” necklace backwards because we did not want to take away from the front bow detailing of the gown while also accentuating her back and shoulders.
Shown on the model above is the “Josephine” necklace worn frontwards. We always tell our brides to get the necklace put on your wedding gown and play around with the necklace both ways to see which way looks best with your gown.
